News Updates

September 9, 2003

Hello all!

It's been a long time since I posted updates on this website. I figured it was about time to bring some of it up to date.

Due to the current political and economic climate here in the United States, my goal over the last year has been to downsize. There is too much uncertainty to take materialism for granted. I have been concentrating on getting rid of old and redundant equipment and replacing it with smaller (but equally powerful) equipment. I still have my Synclavier though!

C&M productions has dissolved and is now operating under Audio Cybernetics Productions.

I have built a new production studio that is both comfortable and efficient to write and score music. Check it out here.

I have been doing some projects for Disney Imagineering and a new age healing CD by Margrit Spear. Check her website here.

My concentration has been focused on putting together a band. Currently the personnel consists of myself and drummer extrodinare, Denny Seiwell. Please check out his website here.

I have written many reviews for Recording and MusicoPro magazine over the past year.

They include:

1. Altiverb

2. Tascam DM24 Digital Mixer

3. Digital Performer 3.11

4. Fingerweights

5. Madplayer

6. Metric Halo Mobile i/o

7. Ableton Live

8. Carvin Allan Holdsworth Guitar

9. Ernie Ball John Petrucci Guitar

10. Mackie Control

11. Mackie 8 Buss

12. Mackie HR824 speakers

13. Carvin Cobalt C980 Acoustic Guitar

14. Kind of Loud Realverb

I will try and post those reviews as soon as I can.

I plan to do a major overhaul of this site and give it a new more hip look. Also a Japanese version is planned too.

Well that's all for now. Please check out the new things that have been changed or added to this site.

Peace,

Christopher Currell
